Triple Laser: Color Craze

Triple Laser: Color Craze is an adventure map for Minecraft 1.20.2. It features state of the art Glass™ laser redirection. You don't want to miss this puzzling adventure!

Made for the Triple Laser Jam. Based on "Triple Laser", a puzzle from Portal 2 by Valve.

HOW TO PLAY:

When in a puzzle, crouch (default: Shift) to create Glass™ and redirect laser to where you're looking. Crouching again on top of an existing Glass™ removes it. Right-clicking it also removes it.

You can right-click sparkling items to collect them as well!

This page does not show all the puzzles, mechanics and secrets. Enjoy the surprises!

UPDATE v1.0.1 (post-voting update):

- Players can now progress normally from puzzle 5 onward;
- Fixed broken door in puzzle 7;
- Laser is no longer laggy and no longer stutters (however, it's now significantly slower);
- Game start now correctly displays intro text card;
- Players can no longer trap themselves in puzzles 2 through 5;
- Ending room's sign about the jam fixed. Also, links now work properly;
- Lots of performance tweaks and improvements for the datapack;
- A better ocean.

KNOWN ISSUES:
- Looping laser in Glass™ can have unexpected behavior. This is never required for any puzzle;
- Laser redirection at a sharp angle with color conversion can occasionally self-collide. This can be avoided by increasing the distance or angle of the redirection;
- There is a possibility of the game lagging/crashing after completing puzzle 6. I don't know what causes it – seemingly something related to chunk loading – and it doesn't seem to happen always. Saving and then reopening the map fixes it.
